Lion's head is situated next to Table Mountain. When you face the mountain, you will see it on your right hand side. It is named after the top of the mountain looking like the head of a lion (no kidding hey ;) ). All though it is a short hike (5.5km), it is a very steep hike. It will take you 1.5 hours to hike up and approximately 1 hour to get down. It is well worth the climb as you will get 360 degree view of the mother city. It is a popular route so expect some traffic along the way.
